Bar Council of India (BCI)
The Bar Council of India is a statutory body established under Section 4 of the Advocates Act, 1961. It is the premier regulatory body for legal education and the legal profession in India. Recognition from BCI is mandatory for any institution to award a law degree that entitles graduates to practice in Indian courts.
